Hoddesdon Advanced thermal treatment plant
This fully-consented 10MW advanced thermal treatment plant sits at the heart of a sustainable energy centre.replica rolex Next to it is the site for our planned anaerobic digestion facility, which is let to Tamar Energy and under construction by Imtech. Nearby, we are also bringing forward plans for a proposed solar PV farm.
Trent has granted a lease for the site to Hoddesdon Energy Ltd, which has raised £60m from funders including the Green replica watches uk Investment Bank and will operate the plant once built. AssetGen Partners are project managing the development throughout.
Once developed, the £60m ATT plant will feature two closed cycle gasifier and boiler streams with the capacity to produce steam at superheated conditions. This will be used to power a 10MW steam turbine and generator.
One bagfilter module and one deaerator will be installed for gas treatment/cleaning and feed water/gas removal.
The plant will process some 87,000 tonnes of RDF a year. This is a fuel derived from hard-to-recycle commercial waste replica watches that would otherwise have gone to landfill. It will produce an estimated annual revenue of some £12m made up of electricity sales, Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROC) revenue and gate fees.
